From planets to moons, to outposts, understand exactly what you're getting into without entering the game, or as a travel companion. It provides time-of-day, hidden locations, and even top exploration contributors to the cause!
What it’s used for:
Galactapedia is Star Citizen’s official lore encyclopedia, covering factions, locations, historical events, ships, manufacturers, alien species, and major figures in the universe.
It serves as the definitive source for in-universe knowledge and narrative context, written and maintained by Cloud Imperium Games.
It is slowly being expanded and will eventually be accessible and editable to some extent from the mobiglas in-game.
What it’s used for:
The Official StarMap is Cloud Imperium Games’ canonical system overview tool for Star Citizen. It shows known star systems, planets, moons, jump points, and their relative positions in the universe.
This information is based on the original vision for Star Citizen and still drives the lore, but obviously the game is starting much smaller.
What it’s used for:
CCUGame serves two major purposes for the Star Citizen community. One side of the site functions as a login-based fleet and pledge manager, allowing players to track ships, CCUs, upgrades, and overall hangar values straight from account info.
The other, more useful side provides a comprehensive public overview of Cloud Imperium Games’ funding, backer growth, ship releases, best sales days, and development milestones, offering a data-driven look at the project’s long-term progress from beginning to current day.

Starchives is a caption search engine for the official Star Citizen YouTube channel. It searches nearly 2,000 videos and their captions to find every occurrence of a word or phrase, with timestamps included.
It helps players quickly source developer quotes, locate specific topics, and verify claims without having to sift through hours of video.
What it's used for:
The Star Citizen Wiki is a community-maintained encyclopedia covering Star Citizen and Squadron 42.
It includes detailed articles on ships, weapons, locations, lore, gameplay mechanics, patch notes, and more.
With over 12,000 articles, it serves as one of the most comprehensive reference sources for the game.
